You’re looking at the Christmas card that never made it to the printers. If I’m being honest, it never even made it to the website that magically turns pictures into cards. So, I guess you’re just looking at a picture.
It’s off-center, kinda blurry. There’s a pile of stuff in the corner. My son is holding a stuffed animal I told him to put down at least 5 times. My middle child looks like she’s in pain and my youngest is sporting a swim suit.
This year, you’re all getting a picture of good intentions.
2019 was the year of good intentions. Being a perfectionist control freak – I did not like that.
With all three kids in school, I intended to get more done, blog more, clean more, organize more, relax more… Instead of doing more, I got more. More commitments, more unexpected challenges, more stress. All my intentions didn’t go as intended. 2019 definitely did not go as I planned.
It went as God planned.
2020 will be different.
I won’t fight it so much. I will enjoy it more. And if I get Christmas cards printed and mailed out… that’ll be a bonus.
Happy New Year everyone! Thank you for doing life with us…
